Ok, so I started working out again. I go good for a while and then for some reason I lose all motivation. what keeps you going? Any good tips or advice? Website maybe? I would love some help.
Take a picture of yourself with only your shorts on. Then develop the picture and look at it every morning. As you progress loosing weight, take more pictures of yourself, get them developed (wear the same clothes if possible) and compare them to the original picture.

Seeing progress keeps me going.

The mirror. Can’t rely on the scales b/c muscle weighs more than fat. Also, the feeling of being energized after a workout.

It would help to change the way you THINK. Do a mental cleanse…in other words…feed your mind with healthy positive info and beyond your control, your yearning for nasty foods will decline…I’ve done it and it happened to me…I didn’t do the mental cleanse for this purpose but it was a side benefit.
The mental cleanse involves turning off the radio, TV, closing the newspapers, stop listening to negative people WHILE engaging in new and positive/uplifting thoughts and company for AT LEAST 21 days…Block out most of what you tend to see in everyday life because 75% of it is negative. This eliminates the junk that we ‘carry around’ with us each and every day and gradually you’ll notice a change in the things you like and what you choose to get involved in as well as what you eat…I don’t totally understand how this works but it does.
With respect to losing weight, your drive to be in shape will become more natural as opposed to something you have to force yourself to do.

I realized exactly how bad some food is for you (looked at labels closely, sugar, fat, and sodium content) and I usually get really excited when I put on a smaller size than I wore two months ago.
Also, complements from people I haven’t seen in a while (those are great!)

Internal motivation is the best for me. I keep progress of my program through pictures, vital measurements (e.g. waist and arm size), weight, and body fat %.
Try going to http://www.bodyforlife.com – they may have a program that helps you.

I have Prom May 12 and my dress is a little tight. I guess you could say that Prom is my motivation.
I had a upset stomache and wasn’t eating much for a day and that seemed to help the number on the scale go down. I’m not saying that you should wish you had a upset stomache though.
I find myself eating when I am bored sometimes. That doesn’t help much.
