on the counter at my work right next to me all day is one of those charity boxes of choccies 4 sale and i cant resist…
plus all the other crap i eat..
any secret tips to turn me off it?
eg…my mum used 2 keep a really fat pic on the fridge so she saw it whenever she went for food.(but i tend to eat out alot more)
i am especially bad with boredom eating!! mainly at work…
Think about how great your body/muscles will look once you’re in shape.
That’s what keeps me motivated.

A few tips to help you…
Obivously you cave chocolate or something during work right? Well bring along a home made fruit salad and eat that! When your brain "craves" food its actually craving for nutrious food not crap and if you keep eating crap your brain is saying "give me more food i havent got my vitamins yet" so thats why you’ll probably crave. its good for charity that you buy the chocolate but you dont need a whole block, just one or 2 pieces will gie you lots of energy. If you get bored find something to do, like at home maybe go for a walk or visit a friend or do something creative? A tip is when your about to eat something say to yourself "am i really hungry or am I just bored?" and think…"I dont need this, i should eat an apple instead". & as for work, find something to do eg: paper work, catch up stuff, o help someone out.

Good motivation tips..
1. look at other large people around you, do you want to be like that?
2. when your following your regime, weigh yourself every three days or so, you will see the weight coming off slowly, this may motivate you to keep going?
3. say to yourself, that when you get to your weight goal, THEN you can maintain your weight and eat some chocolate
4. do it with a friend!
5. write a list of all the reasons you want to lose weight eg. fit into new clothes, not be embarassed or whatever, then remind yourself when you next feel the urge…….
hope that helps

Yeah can be tough. You need to try and distract yourself past your boredom eating. Drinking water is a good alternative if you can get into the habbit of that. You should write out your weight loss goals and then put in a plan of how you will achieve it. U should check out http://www.alfitness.com.au which is the best weight loss site I have come across. heaps of tips and tools.

Take some nuts to work. They’re Low GI and make you feel full for longer. Things like fruit are high in glucose and while they may make you feel better at the time and give you that little sugar "rush", like chocolate, although fruit is much healthier, it won’t last and you’ll just end up craving more. So my advice is to take a mix of nuts, dried fruit and a little bit of chocolate (just to stave off the cravings) and nibble at it throughout the day.

Drink lots of water – water will help fill you up. Also try eating six small meals a day instead of three. The really fat pic on the fridge is good, but also try a really thin picture (it can be you in leaner times or just one you see in a mag).

There are three main reasons one eats:
1. They are actually hungry
2. they are stressed
and 3. You are craving a specific vitamin, which makes you feel hungry, but you eat something wrong, and until you find something that has it in it, you will eat, and eat, and eat.
To fix number 3 I have taken a multivitamin every day, and I eat so much less. I used to be able to eat a full meal, and now, at most I can only eat half of it. It helps alot.
Also, exercising in your spare time can help, but for work, maybe bring some yogurt, lots of water ( half of the times someone is hungry, it’s dehydration, and your body needs water) so try drinking water first, and 10 minutes afterward if your still hungry eat yogurt, or maybe nuts, or those 100 calorie snack packs. But if you get a bag of nuts, look at the back at the serving size, and measure it out in a bowl or something, and only eat that. Put the bag away, and don’t tempt yourself to get it again.
Also, maybe bring some fruit to work, and while you do your boredom eating, don’t get somethng unhealthy, get a fruit, and take your time and eat the fruit.
I hope I’ve helped

and write your goals down.
What works for me is to have a motivation-4-diet folder full of pictures of women you know you could get with if you lost that damn weight.
Have a smaller one on your phone and your goals written on a piece of paper ion you wallet.
Every time you want to do something that you know is detrimental to your goals. Pull the piece of paper out and read the goals out loud and then watch the pictures of your future reward.
If those two combined together don’t help, nothing will help to keep you on track.
Also sometimes I think: nothing tastes as good as being healthy feels.

I read some really good articles by an author I really like where she discusses lots and lots of tips and tricks for weight loss. It had so many ideas. I actually made this soup she talked about in the article and it was great. I have incorporated other ideas she brought up also. I think you would benefit from reading these articles.
