How big is the weight loss difference between eating less calories and eating "healthier" calories?

In other words, if you’re on, say, a 1400-calorie-a-day diet and excersizing regularly, how much of a difference in your weight loss will you see if you eat 1400 calories of McDonalds every day vs. 1400 calories of whole wheat toast and tofu?

If you are serious about losing weight the first thing you should do is cut out the junk food. Processed food is full of salt and fat . 1400 calories full of salt and fat can’t be good for your body. What good would it do you to lose weight and be unhealthy when you have reached you goal?
Change your mindset. Divide your 1400 healthy calories into 4 to 6 small meals. Make each meal count by filling them with healthy foods like green leafy vegetables and fruit. Eat lean meat, fish and chicken. Eat whole grain bread and drink plenty of water.

there is no set number or formula to figure that out. Just that you will have a healthier body eating healthy food and you will lose more weight. The only way to figure out exactly how much would just to try it yourself.

But on a side note you will be able to eat much more food and be more satisfied on a healthier diet. Stuff like McDonalds, has tons of cals, and if you eat it all day you would reach your 1400 cal mark much quicker, with less food.

eating healthy calories gives your body the vitamins and minerals your body needs to function and mend your body parts thus your hunger is satiated where eating empty calories as in processed food -your body never feels full so you over eat.

WOW, Really, They are both crap, Snap out of it, whole food does not mean whole wheat bread. If it comes in a processed package I don’t care how much advertising there is, it’s probably crap. If you are using McDumnold and the word diet in the same sentence on the subject of health you may already be too far gone. Think super foods and maximize your nutritional intake while minimizing your calorific intake. Please do some more research. You have to check out the FBF it gave me such a good start on what and when to eat. check the resource box
